Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attend the inspection?

You can be on-site when the inspection is taking place and you can discuss any questions with the inspector on completion of the inspection. Allowing the inspector to complete the inspection ensures a thorough report.

Do you check the loft and roof?

If the roof or loft area is accessible and safe as defined by the Australian Standards, then the inspector will be able to thoroughly check these areas.

What happens after I book an appointment?

Our Rapid Building Inspections consultant will contact you to confirm the details of your property and to establish a booking time for your inspection. The inspector will then arrive at the property at the designated booking day/time to undertake the inspection.

Can I rescind my contract based on your findings?

Our inspection reports are prepared in accordance with the pre-purchase Standards (AS4349.1-2007 and AS 4949.3-2010) and may be recognised by real estate agents and conveyancers.

If we find visual issues that could potentially compromise your investment, our report could be used as grounds to potentially terminate your contract or strengthen your negotiating position. You can purchase with peace of mind knowing that your property has been checked by an experienced inspector.
